The word peplum comes from the Greek word for tunic, but let’s not get confused as the modern peplum refers more to the short over skirt usually attached to a jacket and more so tops and dresses.

You just have to put the words prada, shoes and summer 2012 into Google and you’ll already get 5,970,000 results. So I think its a pretty safe bet that this seasons shoe incarnation from Prada secretly called the ‘Hot Rod shoe’ will hands down be the most coveted shoe of Summer 2012.
Sadly gone are the days when I can justify spending over £800 on a pair of shoes. Whilst these little darling do look worth the £900 odd pounds that they are coming in at….. What is a woman to do?
